Hrvatsko dizajnersko društvo u suradnji s Ministarstvom kulture i Ministarstvom vanjskih i europskih poslova RH te pod pokroviteljstvom Svjetskog savjeta za dizajn ico-D raspisalo je međunarodni javno-pozivni natječaj za plakat na temu (RE)IMAGINING EUROPE koji je bio otvoren za sve dizajnere iz Europe. U natječaju je sudjelovalo i 10 dizajnera i dizajnerskih studija koje su odabrali organizatori.

The Croatian Designers Association in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Croatia and the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia, with the endorsement of ico-D – International Council of Design, has organized the Poster Competition on the theme (RE)IMAGINING EUROPE which was open to all designers residing in Europe. Additional 10 designers and design studios selected by the organizers also participated in the competition.

Izložba odabranih natječajnih radova trebala se održati u travnju u Muzeju za umjetnost i obrt u Zagrebu. Nažalost, zbog proglašenja pandemije i širenja bolesti COVID-19 te s tim u vezi donošenja Odluke o mjerama ograničavanja društvenih okupljanja, kao i zbog posljedica potresa u Gradu Zagrebu koji se dogodio u istom razdoblju te znatno oštetio Muzej, izložba je morala biti otkazana. Iz tog razloga odabrani natječajni radovi prezentiraju se na web stranici HDD-a te Ministarstva kulture i Ministarstva vanjskih i europskih poslova.

The exhibition of selected competition works was to be held in April at the Museum of Arts and Crafts in Zagreb. Unfortunately, due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the resulting Decision on measures to limit social gatherings, as well as the devastating earthquake that hit the city of Zagreb at that time and seriously damaged the Museum itself, the exhibition opening had to be cancelled. Therefore, the works are currently being presented at the websites of the Croatian Designers Association, the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Croatia and the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia.

Međunarodni stručni žiri, u sastavu: Marija Juza, Dejan Kršić, Nevena Tudor Perković, Alemka Vrcan i Demetrios Fakinos, ocijenio je radove i donio odluku o dodjeli tri novčane nagrade sljedećim radovima:
